“I was working two minimum-wage jobs and still couldn’t support my family.

I began meeting with a job coach at MAM. He helped me identify my strengths, taught me to speak with confidence, and encouraged me to ask my boss about full-time work. My job coach even helped me practice interviewing. Two months later, I was hired in a full-time position with benefits and enough money to cover my bills.

It has been over a year since I went to MAM for help and we are no longer living paycheck to paycheck. I am able to save and provide for my family.“

When neighbors help neighbors, we all benefit.  Your support of MAM plays a part in creating a caring community, where people move past a crisis, build resiliency and develop skills to live a better life.  At MAM, rent and utility assistance are offered together with programs like Employment Services, ESL & Citizenship, Mental Health Counseling, Immigration, and Financial Coaching, so families can build long-term, sustainable solutions. Our programs help families create tailored goals leading to improved health, financial independence, and educational success.

We reach thousands of people each year, but not without your help. We hope you consider a special year-end contribution to help more people get started on their journey to a better life.

Thank you for your continued partnership in making MAM a trusted, safe place that strengthens our community!
