MAM (Memorial Assistance Ministries), located in Spring Branch, in Houston, Texas, has an immediate need for a part-time Donor Database Specialist. Our ideal candidate is a person who is looking to work 20-25 hours per week and who finds joy in working in a culture of philanthropy and providing for community needs. This starting point, growth potential, position is one that can provide pivotal opportunities into full time roles within our organization.

Responsibilities:

The Database Specialist supports all internal efforts of the fund development department by effectively managing a comprehensive database with a high volume of donor data. The position provides information management, gift administration and a variety of general and specific office functions centering on the activities of the Fund Development Team.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in MS Office in Outlook, Word, and Excel, using tables, formulas, etc

  • Provide administrative support

  • Experience working with donor database software, preferably Donor Perfect

  • Financial and statistical record-keeping techniques

  • Reliable use of a smartphone


Education:

  • Required - High school graduate with three years of experience in a general office environment with expansive computer usage required

  • Preferred - College student in 3rd or 4th year, or graduate, with a major in Business, or a major in Liberal Arts or Communication with a minor in Business; or

  • Business professional looking to shift to a part-time work
