A milestone moment for MAM: the opening of our new building. March has been an eventful month in MAM’s more than 40-year history! March 18-20, we officially celebrated the grand opening of the Hamill Education & Workforce Training Center, a space created to expand our capacity to partner with hard-working Houstonians to build healthy, stable lives and hope-filled communities.

The Hamill Building

As part of our $22M “Growing Our Impact… Together!” initiative, this 21,000 sq. ft. facility was created to respond to the growing needs in our community as poverty continues to rise across Houston—equipping individuals and families with the tools they need to build brighter futures. It will allow us to serve more than 21,000 individuals each year and expand our training and education programs by 50%.

This center is more than a building. It’s a place where our neighbors can access education, workforce training, and support—creating new opportunities for stability and long-term success.

And this is just the beginning!
