Support or Host a Drive

Every day MAM helps families stay in their homes and teaches the skills they need to take care of themselves.  Once basic needs are met, we look for other ways to help - school clothing, gifts for Christmas, household cleaners and hygiene supplies.

Attend an Event

MAM holds various event throughout the year to give our community a chance to know use even better. Whether it's a small virtual event or a large fundraiser, we hope you'll plan to join us.

Become a Volunteer

Volunteers help MAM to serve the community in all of MAM’s program areas. Volunteers have been the backbone of the organization since 1983.

Sandy Staffeld

Vice President of Resource Development

Joined MAM in 2010

Raised in a small town of 200, Sandy learned the true value of ‘neighbors helping neighbors’ at an early age. It is no surprise she began a career with the non-profit sector.

Sandy is inspired by helping donors find a charitable investment that matches what is near and dear to their heart. She has raised funds for special needs and neglected children, long-term care for the elderly, community healthcare and family services. Today, Sandy and her team are focused upon creating donor relationships that will enrich the quality of life for struggling families throughout Houston.

Fun Fact: Natives of Upper Peninsula of Michigan are referred to as “Yoopers." Ask Sandy to show you where she grew up and she will create the State of Michigan with her hands!
